Blueberry Almond Pie

Ingredients:
Crust:
• ¼ tsp. salt
• ½ c. brown butter
• 1 ½ c. all-purpose flour
• 2 tbsp. maple syrup
• 2 tbsp. water
Filling:
• ½ c. butter softened
• ½ c. powdered sugar
• 1 ½ c. ground almonds
• 2 c. blueberries
• 2 egg yolks
• 2 eggs Instructions:
1. To make the crust, combine the butter, maple syrup, and water in a container.
2. Put in the remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly. Knead the dough slightly then move it to a floured working surface.
3. Roll your dough into a thin sheet, then place it in a pie pan and press it thoroughly on the pan’s bottom and sides. Trim the edges as needed.
4. Next, to make the filling, combine the sugar and butter in a container until creamy.
5. Put in the eggs, egg yolks and almonds and mix thoroughly.
6. Spoon the mixture into the crust then top with fresh blueberries.
7. Pre-heat the oven and bake at 350F for around forty minutes or until a golden-brown color is achieved on the edges.
8. Let cool in the pan before you serve.
